Basic Duct Layout
Our duct cleaning process
- Turn off furnace
- Locate access for truck powered hoses to furnace area
- Locate and cut access holes into main hot air duct
- Locate and cut access holes into main cold air duct
- Drill 1" access holes into both hot & cold main duct work (they
- will later be sealed with air tight caps)
- Mark damper locations and open, if necessary
- Inspect duct system
- Attach truck powered machine, (large hose) systematically to hot & cold main duct
- All supply & return registers are sealed to create a vacuum
- Blow down all hot air ducts with high pressure air 275psi
- Blow down all cold air ducts with high pressure air 275psi
- We use our 275psi high pressure spinning air brush snake system on both hot and cold main ducts
- Also a complete J-channel compartment cleaning
- Access holes will be sealed with tape gasket and cover plates which will be screwed in air tight
- Spinning air brush snake system, access hole will be plugged air tight with specially designed caps
- Close any open windows
- Check to see that the dampers have not moved
Turn on furnace
- Cycle to ensure pilot light and furnace fan operation
- Furnace inspection
- Advise customer on next service (includes 10% - 20% discount
